GIRL. THEY WERE JUST HANGING OUT, ALL CUTE AND SHORT AND SHIT. It's foal season apparently, so there were a few that were only a couple of weeks old! They weren't afraid of people at all; there was a herd of them just grazing and napping.
I think the key to the MeetUp group is finding an activity you would like or do by yourself anyway! I like the folks who show up to this group because they joke around and chat, but they also know when to be quiet and focus on the physical exertion part.
Are there any around you that look promising at all?
I got very excited a few months ago because a book club MeetUp started in a city nearby, but the organizer said that we'd be reading each chapter together, silently, and then discussing it at the agreed upon time. It sounded like quiet time from high school, so I declined.
Friends foreva. I'll save my Trek jokes for my dad. :D
