I did go to TVN's thing! I cried like a tiny, helpless child (OR like any number of Homeric heroes.)
When they did the speeches, there was just, like, an entire table of us sitting in the front (of course) crying hysterically. But his older sister told us she liked seeing how much he meant to us and then told us about how when he was in kindergarten he got her suspended from school. So, all in all, I think that went down exactly as it should have.
